Marina, a young Andalusian actress, discovers during a visit to her Catalan family that her grandmother’s Alzheimer’s is already at an advanced stage. The situation worsens when she sees the humour with which her mother and the others approach the illness. Between the after-lunch coffee and her grandmother’s return to the care home, Marina will have to decide what role she plays within her distant family, and how close she wants her relationship with her mother to be.
