Atado is an experimental short film portraying an afternoon in the life of a Chinese couple living in Barcelona as they try to fall asleep amid the cacophony of television news and the constant distraction of their own desires. In their dreams, present, past and future begin to dissolve into one another.

Through images and sound, the film seeks to loosen the ties of culture, language and gender, reaching towards a more essential shared human impulse. At the same time, it explores a cinematic language suspended between fiction and documentary.
